Christophe Massiot, founder of OpenHeadend was one of the first developers to participate in open source VLC project while he was still in Centrale Paris. His contribution to the VLC development allows him today to be recognized by his peers as one of the French video experts (Tarik Krim’s Report on French developers handed to Fleur Pellerin early April 2014). He also developed Upipe – flexible dataflow framework – an Open Source project which represents a major technological brick for OpenHeadend.
